GREAT SERVICE AND GREAT FOOD! i am a die hard raising cane’s fan so i was a little skeptical going into a new chicken place. HOWEVER, the chicken is objectively better quality and the sauce (although i am biased) was also still pretty good. fries are great and chicken was flavorful and spicy! great portion for what you’re paying for. i also accidentally broke the tip sign on the counter so hopefully this review makes up for my accident. they also provided a glove which was a nice addition bc i didn’t want chicken residue on my fingers. the only thing is that they didn’t have free water so i had to buy a drink 😞

One of the best fried chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. What can make it better? — nice quality, artisan bread (as opposed to super processed buns). It’s still good tho, but with baker’s quality bread, this sandwich would be hard to beat. The cole slaw is sweet, which I’m not a huge fan of, but it works. (Not a fan of sugar in my savor foods.) But it has the perfect crunch. The meat is juicy and perfectly fried. Their regular and Cajun fries are bomb. It’s addictive. I didn’t take good pics. But there are a couple for an idea!

There’s a new, hot fried chicken spot in Boston and oh my GOD they bring the heat! Hands down this was the best fried chicken we’ve had in a long time! Each piece of chicken was cooked to perfection (flavorful and juicy) and at the perfect spice level: Medium. REAL SPICE LEVELS not “spicy” from black pepper and a little paprika, but a flavorful slow burn that complimented the chicken so harmoniously. DEFINITELY check this place out and choose your own spice level! Will definitely be back to try the other spice levels!

Really good, really hot fried chicken. Even the mild spice level is sometimes spicy, so watch out! Naturally, it’s better if you dine in, but the chicken stays decently crispy for delivery, and the flavor is still great. The sides are tasty as well, especially the fried pickles and mac n cheese. Would recommend!

This is one place I'd really wholeheartedly recommend as five stars. Their menu isn't extremely expansive, but everything they do they make sure to do well. Most importantly, the food looks exactly like it's advertised. The chicken is large and delicious. The prices are very reasonable. For those dining in they provide eating gloves so people can be mess-free and sanitary. In the bathrooms they provide complimentary mouthwash so you can carry on with your day without worrying if your breath is spicy. Plenty of hand sanitizer. Very clean interior. They take a few little steps to be considerate of their customers and I think that really matters. Kudos to Underdog for making amazing hot chicken.

This is the place to go for the crispy fried chicken cravings! They got you covered from chicken sandwiches to chicken tenders and drumsticks! It was so flavorful and juicy with a kick of spice. You get to pick a side with each combo and prices are WORTH! $14-$18 for combos that got me STUFFED to the max!

Came back. Great spicy fried chicken. Still the best imo. Lemon pepper fries also amazing. Cajun fries are so crispy. Charge for bottled water No tap. Bathrooms are clean. Ask for key. There is mouthwash in there. Weird looking plunger.

So far this is the BEST hot chicken in the city, without a doubt. It's priced right, you get a great (and big) sandwich, and it's done as a true hot chicken should be. The only drawback I saw was that the sandwich was made with two generous sized tenders which makes the sandwich difficult to hold together. Don't know if the shop will expand to thighs (more flavor than breasts), but it would be an upgrade for the sandwich. Underdog also offers 5 levels of heat, which is a welcome customization. I'm immediately suspect of any place that doesn't let you choose your heat level. I went with Medium which provided a nice burn if I stopped to notice. I highly recommend Underdog Hot Chicken
